What is NABE TEC?
Each year, NABE’s Tech Economics Conference brings together hundreds of applied economists, data scientists, academics, and graduate students for an intellectual exchange on how developments in economics and data science are impacting approaches, frameworks, tools, and techniques employed by practitioners at tech companies and other businesses. TEC2022 will also include the NABE Industry Job Fair, designed to deliver the resumes of top economics candidates to employers from leading tech firms and other firms hiring candidates with highly technical backgrounds and training in economics.

Health/Safety Guidelines
Updated: August 18, 2022
NABE’s number one priority is the health and safety of our event participants. Our goal is to hold a safe event, recognizing it is not possible to remove all risks, in particular concerning COVID-19. NABE cannot be held liable for COVID-19 cases arising because of event attendance, but the following measures are in place to provide a safe environment for event attendees:
- All participants will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination means documentation that the individual is at least two weeks past the full primary two-injection course of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines or a single shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. NABE strongly recommends attendees obtain a booster shot and complete a COVID-19 test prior to arriving at the conference.
- NABE will enforce any local mask policy that is in effect at the time of the conference.
Please note that conference health protocols are subject to change based on evolving health conditions.
