Ralph McLaughlin of CoreLogic will discuss his paper “A Wild Flipping Ride: Economic Returns to U.S. House Flipping, 2002-2018.” The paper is a deep dive into home flipping. Not only do the authors investigate flipping rates nationally and across U.S. metros, they also estimate the gross economic returns to home flipping at the national level, and test to see which factor is most correlated with such returns.
