Student Center

We welcome all students to become involved with NABE, and have a number of ways for you to participate in a national network of economics professionals. In our membership area, you will find a discounted rate for student membership. And we offer special student registration fees for our conferences. This page tells you about additional ways you may directly participate in NABE, such as being part of a student chapter, sharing news about your chapter, career help and job search information, and student mentoring programs.

A group of students at a college or university with an interest in business economics may form a NABE Student Chapter. The following links provide more information on starting and running a student chapter.

Career Help

The NABE Career Center has a number of important tools. These include a downloadable copy of the book "Careers in Business Economics 2004". This booklet includes articles by practicing economists discussing their careers and jobs. Members may access our "Employment Opportunities" and "Positions Wanted" listings, and the most recent Salary Surveys.
