Norman Morin is a senior economist at the Federal Reserve Board in the Industrial Output Section of the Division of Research and Statistics. His primary responsibilities include producing the published estimates of capacity and capacity utilization and forecasting the industrial sector.
He received his undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, San Diego. He is in his seventh year at the Federal Reserve Board.
Yorgos Papatheodorou
Lockwood Greene
Yorgos Papatheodorou is chief economist and Manager of Market Development with Lockwood Greene, where he has been for 11 years. He has a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Sussex (U.K.), and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of British Columbia (Canada), where his research topic was on energy and the macroeconomy. After working as an energy economist, university professor and consultant, he has been Lockwood Greene’s chief economic and market analyst, helping ensure that the company stays market- and customer-focused. He has been providing economic analysis and forecasting, consulting project support, market and competitive research and intelligence, and support and facilitation for strategic planning. Lockwood Greene is an engineering and construction company serving the manufacturing, industrial and power markets. He is currently serving on the NABE Board of Directors and as chair of the Manufacturing Roundtable.
