DELOITTE & TOUCHE, INTERNATIONAL TAX SERVICES GROUP, Los Angeles, CA (Transfer Pricing Economist, May 2000 – November 2001) Following the relevant section of the Internal Revenue Service’s Internal Revenue Code (§482) used statistical techniques to determine the range over which a company should price cross-border transactions between related entities. This involved, primarily, the comparison of profits (or costs) of companies that were similar to the client in terms of functions performed and risks borne after adjusting for various differences between the client and these comparable companies (i.e.- inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.). Prepared documentation and presentations of findings and recommendations to clients. Also provided client support services during IRS audits relating to transfer pricing issues. DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY, INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE, Glendale, CA (Transfer Pricing Economist (March 1995 – April 2000) Engaged in Transfer Pricing related economic analysis. This included, primarily, auditing taxpayers with respect to their transfer pricing issues.
