NABE Op-Ed provides a visible, speedy method to get your
views known. Use this Op-Ed page to let other NABE members and the public
know your views and opinions.
Articles
Author's Guidelines
- Op-ed pieces should apply economic reasoning or principals to some
current event. The article should be about issues currently in the headlines.
In most cases, it will be posted within two days of being received,
so relevance is important. The issue must be so timely that it can't
wait for publication in Business Economics or NABE News,
and the write-up must be of professional quality.
- Articles should be no more than 750 words.
- Authors must be NABE members.
- All pieces will be reviewed by an editorial board . Submissions are
to be made to the webmaster, who will then circulate pieces to the board.
- All pieces will be clearly marked as the opinion of the author when
published.
- In addition to being judged for relevance and for application of economics,
articles must be grammatical and organized. We may provide suggestions,
but we will not provide extensive line editing.
- The author's e-mail address should be included with the op-ed piece.
Responses will be encouraged, and will be posted if deemed relevant.
