The Detroit Association for Business Economics will sponsor the annual Bob Fish Memorial Economic and Automotive Outlook on January 21.
The Seattle Economics Council hosted luncheon speaker Mark Costello, lead lender relations specialists for the Seattle District of the Small Business Administration on December 9. He discussed the availability of credit, how small businesses are weathering the recession, and future prospects for small businesses in the Puget Sound region.
The Los Angeles Chapter hosted a luncheon talk on November 18 with NABE President Lynn Reaser, chief economist of Point Loma Nazarene University, who discussed the economic outlook for the United States and California.
The Denver Association of Business Economics heard from former NABE Board member Ken Simonson on November 12 when he spoke to a luncheon gathering about the outlook for construction. He is chief economist of the Associated General Contractors of America.
