Roundtables Choose Officers, Set Full Teleconference Schedule

NABE’s Roundtables now have officers for the coming year and are organizing a full schedule of teleconference calls on a wide variety of timely topics.

Roundtables held four teleconferences in December, leading off with a December 3 discussion of  "The Problem in Nonresidential Real Estate: How Big, How Bad, How Soon?"   This teleconference was the first of the newly formed Real Estate/Construction Roundtable; it attracted more than 60 participants.

In early December, NABE introduced an all-inclusive pass through the KnowledgeLink, giving members access to all teleconferences for $100 per year. Over the coming year, NABE President Lynn Reaser estimated that there will be about 40 teleconferences, with each of the eight Roundtables hosting four and others planned for the release of NABE surveys.  “This new benefit is a tremendous value-added program for our members,” she said.

Instead of paying separately for each teleconference, members can pay once at considerable savings if they frequently join the calls. For example, if members dialed in to all of the teleconferences in 2009, the cost was nearly $300. For more information, go to: http://nabe.com/knowledgelink/
