BE Begins Partnership With Palgrave; Surveys Adopt Fresh Look

With the release of the first issue of Business Economics in 2009, the quarterly research journal will have published its inaugural issue under a new partnership between NABE and Palgrave Macmillan.

Business EconomicsThe first volume of Business Economics that will be published by Palgrave Macmillan will be Volume 44, beginning in January 2009.  The journal will be published in both online and print formats, with an expected release date near the end of February.

A leading refereed periodical, Business Economics is now in its 44th year.  The journal provides practical information for those who apply economics in their jobs and is a notable forum for debating solutions to key business issues and best-practice applied economic models and techniques.

Announcement of each issue’s release will be made via e-mail to NABE members and on www.nabe.com.

New Online Format Will Be Searchable

Among the enhancements to the publication under the new arrangement with Palgrave are the availability online of both PDF and fully searchable full-text HTML formats.

“With this advanced online availability and Web functionality, readers, authors, and librarians will experience faster, more consistent, and more comprehensive access to the content,” the publishing company said.   Palgrave Macmillan has extensive experience in global journals publishing that includes these features.

NABE’s partnership with Palgrave Macmillan is bringing about these changes in a smooth transition.   The editorial function of Business Economics, with editor Robert Crow, will continue unchanged.

Fresh Look for Surveys

SurveyWith the release of its industry survey on Jan. 26, NABE introduced a new, fresh look to the survey reports, adding blue and gold borders, new formatting, and easier-to-read tables and figures.
