The Dallas Fort Worth Association for Business Economics (DFW) has elected new officers for 2009. Jessica Heer will be the new president. Paul Hendershot will serve as vice president, Fiona Sigalla as treasurer, and Julie Wojciechowski as secretary. Jeanette Rice is the immediate past president.
The National Economists Club, the chapter in the nation’s capital, has elected Chad Moutray as the new president for 2009. Moutray is chief economist of the U.S.
Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy and a member of NABE’s Get Connected organizing team. See his profile in this issue.
The recently reconstituted San Francisco Chapter held a program Dec. 3 on “Econometrics Applied to the Biotechnology and Investment Industries” with Darwin Farrow, principal of DA Farrow Consulting, as the speaker.
