New Student Chapter

On Nov. 9, 2007, the Pittsburgh Business Economics Society joined NABE as the newest student chapter.  The chapter is affiliated with the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.  Nicholas Fischer is the president and Esther Gal-Or is the faculty adviser.  NABE now has eight student chapters.

Southeast Florida Economics Club

The recently organized Southeast Florida Economics Club became affiliated with NABE on Dec. 4, 2007.  Initial officers include, David Goldenberg, chair; Lewis Goodkin, vice chair; and Bernard (Biff) Pettingill, treasurer.  The club will hold its first “official” meeting on Jan. 24, 2008, with a luncheon and a talk on “The Housing Outlook for South Florida.”  NABE now has 35 affiliated chapters.
