Richard Berner, former NABE president and chief U.S. economist at Morgan Stanley, received the William F. Butler Award for Excellence in Business Economics from the New York Association for Business Economics.

Charles Evans became the new president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago on Sept. 1, replacing Michael Moskow, who retired after serving in the bank’s top post since 1994. Moscow is now a senior fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.

Tom Fullerton, professor, University of Texas at El Paso, recently lectured at the Oxford Business and Economic Conference in England on the impact of regulatory burdens on international income performance. He is also the co-editor of Basic Border Econometrics published by UACJ Press.
