Corporate Planning

Sydney Smith Hicks, chief executive officer, SSHICKS Advisors, Plano, Texas., is chair. Daniel Bean, Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Washington, D.C., is vice chair.

Financial

Robert T. McGee, managing director and chief economist, United States Trust Company, New York, is chair.  Other officers elected are: Nayantara Hensel, assistant professor of finance, U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, Calif., as vice chair; Gregory L.Miller, chief economist, SunTrust Bank Inc., Atlanta, as treasurer; George A. Kahn, vice president and associate director of research, Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, as publicity director; and three others as officers—Rajeev Dhawan, director, Economic Forecasting Center, Georgia State University, Atlanta; Ryan Reed, economist, National City Corp., Cleveland; and Francis H. Schott, consultant.

Devon Herrick, senior fellow, National Center for Policy Analysis, Mesquite, Texas, is chair.  Nurhan “Mike” Helvacian, senior consultant,, MNH Consulting, Englewood Cliffs, N.J., is vice chair.

International

Stuart Mackintosh, executive director, the Group of Thirty, Washington, D.C., is chair.  Officers elected are: Sarah Carlson, economist, Financial Service Authority, London; Ogden Hammond, consultant, McKinsey & Company; Andrea Keenan, managing senior financial analyst, AM Best Company, Bethlehem, Pa.; Mark A. Killion, managing director, Global Insight, Inc., Eddystone, Pa.; and William H. Witherell, vice president and chief global economist, Cumberland Advisors, Inc., North Grafton, Mass.

Manufacturing

Thomas Kevin Swift, chief economist, American Chemical Council, Arlington, Va., is chair.  Kathryn Kobe, director of price, wage and productivity analysis, Economic Consulting Services LLC, Washington, D.C., is vice chair.   Lloyd Nace, strategic business analyst, American Standard, Nashville, is an officer.

Regional Utility

Ann E. Dunbar, economist, U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, Washington, D.C., is chair.  Michael Chriszt, director of international and regulatory analysis, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, is vice chair. Evelina Tainer, chief economist, Washington State Employment Security, Olympia, is secretary/treasurer.  Larry O'Connell, manager, Con Edison, Pleasantville, N.Y., is publicity director. Two members were elected officers: Yorgos Papatheodorou, senior project manager, CH2M HILL, Spartanburg, S.C., and John Kort, chief, regional economic analysis division, U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, Washington, D.C.
