Policy Conference 2003: Poster Board Session
Who?
NABE members who are registered for the Policy Conference can register
as presenters for the poster board session.
What?
The session is ideal for consultants to demonstrate a tool or present
a service, analysts who want to explain a methodology, researchers who
want feedback on their research, opinion leaders who want to convince
others on their point of view and others.
Where?
The Watergate Hotel, 2650 Virginia Avenue NW, Washington, DC, room to
be announced.
When?
The poster board session will be held 10:15 to 11:15 AM on Monday, March
24, 2003. The session will last for one hour. No more than 16 poster board
presentations will be scheduled.
Why?
NABE is offering a poster board session because so many conference attendees
have interesting and useful ideas, and there is not enough time during
the conference to create more meeting sessions. The poster board session
will allow more conference attendees to participate in the program and
exchange ideas.
How does it work?
NABE will provide cork boards and push pins to display your posters. (Details
about the setup to follow.) During the poster board session, conference
attendees are invited to visit the room and visit the poster board displays.
Presenters have the opportunity to present and discuss their displays.
Posters should be readable from a distance of about two to three feet--for
easy reading by several people at one time. Each presenter must remain
at his/her poster board during the entire session. Presenters are encouraged
to have handouts available for attendees.
How much does it cost?
There is no charge for the poster board session, but each presenter must
register for the full policy conference. Presenters and the title of their
poster board displays will be listed in the official policy conference
program.
Register for the session using the form below. Registration deadline
is March 1, 2003.
