NABE POSTER SESSION

We cordially invite you to participate in the poster session at the 2009 Washington Economic Policy Conference. The poster session provides an efficient way to showcase your analysis and research. The deadline for registration is January 21, 2009. Register Now. Here are the details:

What?

The poster session is ideal for analysts who want to explain a new methodology, researchers, including students, who want feedback on their innovative research, and thought leaders who want to propose policy analysis on an issue or topic of interest. Exhibition of commercial products or services is not permissible

Who?

Poster submissions are open to anyone registered for the Policy Conference.

Where?

The Marriott Key Bridge Hotel in Arlington, VA.

When?

The two poster sessions are scheduled on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10:45 AM and at 2:45 PM.

Why?

NABE is offering a poster board to encourage the free flow of new thoughts and ideas, and research in progress. The poster session will allow you to present your work, network with others who may be working on similar projects, and receive feedback from a broad network of economists.

How does it work?

You must submit a brief abstract describing your work to NABE by January 21. A panel will review your submission and notify you of its acceptance on or before January 28. For your poster session, NABE will provide boards and push pins to display your posters. During the poster session, conference attendees visit the poster board displays. You have the opportunity to present and discuss your information. Posters should be readable from a distance of about two to three feet--for easy reading by several people at one time. You must remain at your poster during the scheduled sessions. Feel free to have handouts for conference attendees.

How much does it cost?

There is no charge for the poster session, but you must register for the policy conference. Presenters and the title of their poster board displays will be listed in the official policy conference program and on nabe.com.
