NABE Poster Session
We cordially invite you to participate in the poster session at the 2006 Washington Economic Policy Conference. The poster session provides an efficient way to showcase your analysis and research. Here are the details.
What?
The poster session is ideal for analysts who want to explain a new methodology, researchers who want feedback on their innovative research, opinion leaders who want to convince others on their point of view, and consultants to demonstrate a handy tool or present a useful service.
Who?
Those who are registered for the Policy Conference can register as presenters for the poster session. Register here for the Policy Conference.
Where?
The Marriott Crystal City at Reagan National Airport, 1999 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA (5 minutes from Washington DC).
When?
The poster session is scheduled for from 10 AM to 5 PM in the ballroom foyer on Monday, March 13, 2006. You are expected to be at your poster presentation during the networking breaks.
Why?
NABE is offering a poster board session because many conference attendees have exciting and innovative ideas, and there is not enough time during the conference to create more meeting sessions. The poster session will allow you to showcase your analysis and exchange ideas.
How does it work?
NABE will provide corkboards and push pins to display your posters. During the poster session, conference attendees visit the poster board displays. You have the opportunity to present and discuss your information. Posters should be readable from a distance of about two to three feet--for easy reading by several people at one time. You must remain at your poster during the scheduled networking breaks. Feel free to have handouts for conference attendees.
How much does it cost?
There is no charge for the poster session, but you must register for the policy conference. Presenters and the title of their poster board displays will be listed in the official policy conference program and on NABE.com.
Register for the poster board session here. Registration deadline is February 15, 2006.
