Professional Errors and Omissions Insurance Program

NABE® has joined with the American Agricultural Economic Association to offer NABE® members errors and omissions insurance.

Why errors and omissions insurance?

You may be sued for failure to perform your professional services to the degree of skill expected. A professional errors and omissions policy insures you against damages from your acts, errors or omissions in rendering professional services. Even if the allegations are false you may still have to defend yourself and your reputation. Defense costs can add up to several thousands of dollars and are also covered by the policy.

What are the program specifics?

There will be one policy per geographical area (not available in CA, NY or NJ). Policy limits are from $100,000 per claim to $1,000,000 per claim with varying annual aggregates. Deductibles are $1,000 and up. Rates are competitive. Insurance companies used included Lloyds, London; Commercial Underwriters Insurance Co.; and others for special exposures.
