TREASURY SECRETARY SPEAKS AT POLICY CONFERENCE
Treasury Secretary Paulson will speak on Monday morning at the 24th annual Washington Economic Policy Conference. The economic advisers of the leading presidential candidates will speak on Tuesday afternoon. They join a roster of distinguished speakers you won’t want to miss. MEDICAL BANKING TELECONFERENCE
The Health Economics Roundtable will sponsor “Health Care Information Technology and Financing’s Next Frontier: The Potential of Medical Banking” on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 1:00-2:00 PM Eastern. The speaker is Stephen Parente, Medical Industry Leadership Institute, University of Minnesota, and Devon Herrick of the National Center for Policy Analysis will moderate. NABE OUTLOOK SURVEY. TELECONFERENCE
On February 25, we’ll release the quarterly macroeconomic survey by NABE’s panel of professional forecasters. The release will include forecasts for 2008 and 2009 as well as special questions on the possibility of recession, inflation, credit condition, and housing. Join us at a teleconference at 11 AM EST, when Ellen Hughes-Cromwick, Lynn Reaser, Robert Fry, and Charles Steindel will discuss the survey results. Register for the teleconference here.
