Forecast for Fed Funds Rate
With the FOMC meeting this week, this will be a good time to re-visit the NABE Outlook's September 2006 forecast for the Fed Funds rate for the rest of 2006 and 2007.
According to the panel, 58% of respondents expect the Fed to begin lowering rates within 12 months. 60% of respondents expect the Fed tightening cycle to end at 5.25%
