Civilian Unemployment Rate
The Graph of the Week looks at the civilian unemployment rate from January 2001 to last month. With a number of major employment indicators being released this month, including the ADP National Employment Report, the Monster Employment Index, the Leading Indicator of National Employment as well as the Employment Situation from the BLS, it's timely to look at the data.
The data itself was downloaded from FRED, the Federal Reserve Economic Database at the St. Louis Fed. You can find links to all of the employment releases in NABE's Economic Calendar, available either on the homepage or archived in the member's section.
