Pace of Job Gains
The Graph of the Week comes from the October 2008 NABE Outlook, and shows the estimate for changes in employment for 2008 and 2009. From the survey:
Deteriorating near-term growth prospects are expected to lead to more job losses and higher unemployment than expected by the economists last May. The panel now expects job losses to continue for another three quarters.
