Housing Starts
The Graph of the Week shows the forecast for total housing starts, as forecast by the NABE Outlook panel.
Not surprisingly, in light of continuing weak data and the turmoil in the subprime mortgage market, the panel reduced further its outlook for residential investment: the panel has cut its forecast for 2008 housing starts by about 100,000 units, to 1.4 million.
