Industrial Production
The Graph of the Week is the Federal Reserve's G17 data series Industrial Production Index, from January 2003 through November, 2006 (The December numbers will be released this week, on 1/17/07. Follow the links on the NABE Economic Calendar to go to the Fed's news release).This graph is the Industrial Production Index for Major Industry Groups, with 2002=100.
The numbers were downloaded from the Fed's Data Download Program, which lets you download selected Fed statistical releases, including IP, Flow of Funds accounts, and interest rates, in a variety of file formats through a selection process. The Fed also has RSS news feeds with announcements about the DDP and the data available from the application.
