CBE and CLE Credits

   Certified Business Economist (CBE) Credits

Individuals who have earned the Certified Business Economist® (CBE) Certification are required to earn 30 continuing education credit hours every two years. The NABE Econ + Law Summit qualifies for approximately 11.5 continuing education credit hours. Please track your hours separately to be reported to NABE at the time of your renewal. CBEs are encouraged to track their credit hours on the CBE Continuing Education Form, which can be downloaded from www.NABE.com/CBE.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Credits for Attorneys

The Summit currently has a pending application for CLE accreditation with the Virginia State Bar.

NABE will assist attorneys seeking CLE credit from their state bar associations. The NABE Econ + Law Summit qualifies for approximately 11.5 hours of substantive educational content. Please note that the number of CLE hours approved may vary by state, subject to state bar approval.

Upon request, NABE will provide proof of attendance, the agenda and session timing, written materials, and other documentation necessary to apply for CLE credit. Attorneys are responsible for all CLE reporting and approval requirements in their respective jurisdictions.
