On Thursday January 19 (2012!) DABE is proud to host our annual Bob Fish Memorial Automotive and Economic Outlook luncheon. The board has identified a great panel for this signature DABE event. First, George Magliano of IHS Global Insight will address the U.S. forecast for 2012 and beyond. Then we will hear from Kristin Dziczek of the CAR group, who will give us an overview of the recently concluded labor contract negotiations and what the results may mean for the auto industry in the coming years.
The meeting will begin with registration at 11:30 AM and our speakers at noon, and will take place at the Detroit branch of the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank in downtown Detroit. Directions are attached. Please RSVP by January 17 to place your name on the security list for admission to the Fed facility, and bring a picture ID for entrance.
