Maney writes a regular column for The Denver Post called “Economic Revolution,” covering many of the same topics. He is a frequently-seen economic commentator, with regular appearances on several national news and business networks. He has also written for the Rocky Mountain News, the Huffington Post, and other print and electronic publications.

Maney is a successful entrepreneur, business educator, and former journalist who previously co-founded Headwaters MB, a Denver-based merchant banking platform provider, and before that, Worldbridge Broadband Services Inc., a telecommunications network services firm. He began his business career at the San Francisco Chronicle Publishing Company as Assistant to the President of the newspaper division and as a business journalist at the company’s Illinois and Massachusetts newspapers. Prior to that, he had been an assistant to the New York State Senate Majority Leader.

He is a thirteen-year member of the Colorado and Global One Chapters of YPO, and is a former YPO-International Education Chairman and member of the organization’s International Board of Directors. He is a graduate of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the State University of New York at Binghamton, and is married with four daughters and a son.
