Tamarind Thai Restaurant. 80 14th St.

Northside Tavern,1058 Howell Mill Road
Live blues 7 nights a week.
Fat Matt's Rib Shack, 1811 Piedmont Road.
Great barbecue, blues on Sunday.
Another recommendation is the South City Kitchen -- "Net net, in terms
of location (between the Fed and the hotel), contacts, and experience, our
vote is for South City Kitchen, which offers Southern fare but in a non heavy,
non greasy version, plus other interesting dishes in a with-it atmosphere." For
more information, please visit http://www.southcitykitchen.com Located at
