It is very clear that all the world’s financial markets are substantially interconnected. Crises can spread like wildfire through the world’s financial systems, damaging economic growth as they spread. NABE’s 15th Annual Policy Conference examined the causes of the current crisis and its cures and, more importantly, identified what can prevent such a catastrophe from happening again. Government and private sector leaders provided insight about managing change in the global environment, and attendees came away with a deeper understanding about implications for our organizations.

Speakers’ handouts and remarks are available on NABE’s web site, , along with their bios. The next issue of NABE News will publish a summary of the conference.

We are grateful to our sponsors and advertisers for supporting NABE, its programs and this conference. Our special thanks and appreciation goes to the Embassy of Japan for hosting our reception.

Check back often to the conference schedule for updates and additions.
